Hi, I’m Ren Behan
My passion is writing about fabulous food
Amongst other achievements, I hold a Diploma in Food Journalism with Distinction and a certificate in Food Styling from the Leith’s School of Food.I am also a member of The Guild of Food Writers and have been a judge in the Guild of Food Awards.
This year, I have written my first cookbook on modern Polish food to be published in 2017 by Pavilion Books, alongside writing my hugely successful food blog www.renbehan.com. I am also a contributor to JamieOliver.com, Time Inc/Good to Know, Good Food Channel and Great British Chefs.
Are you ready to turn your blog into a business?
I’ve met so many people who’d also love to move to the next level – whether that’s making the leap from being a hobby blogger to a paid writer, or from being employed to going freelance. Or, perhaps, you’ve got some ideas on where you’d like to be, but you have no idea on how to get there.
I’m here to support you, positively and creatively, and to show you how.
Are you ready to Bloom?
Thankfully, the joy of writing about food spurred me on to up skill myself through training in lots of different areas, and soon afterwards, amazing opportunities started to flood in and I began writing for platforms away from my own site. And so far, I haven’t had to go back to being a lawyer and my food writing has enabled me to build a more flexible career from home.
I can’t wait to share this invaluable knowledge with you, in order to help you fulfill your food writing potential too.
Now is the right time to invest in your own skills
I want you to have the same success, so I’ve combined my years of extensive (and expensive!) training and experience, into a value-packed ecourse. It’s bursting with answers to the most common questions I’m always asked including:
- How do I pitch and get published by magazines?
- How do I negotiate paid recipe opportunities?
- How do I secure advertising on my site?
- How do I grow my traffic?
- How do I improve my photography?
- How do I style my food for photographs?
- How do I get sponsorship so I can attend blog conferences for free?
Let’s turn your writing dreams into reality
